She is currently allowed to travel to see her family for holidays and special occasions as part of her current court-ordered probation.

And Lindsay Lohan has certainly taken advantage of that perk over the Christmas break.

The 24-year-old actress flew to her hometown of Long Island for the holidays last week, and posed for a festive snap alongside her family.

While in her last official photo for Playboy she was wearing nothing but a lashing of red-lipstick, this time Lohan is of course much more covered-up.

Wearing black trousers, a matching top and a fur gilet, she is seen in the family abode posing in front of a Christmas tree.

Alongside her mother Dina, sister Ali and brothers Michael Jr. and Cody, the actress is beaming and looks happy to be home.

While Lindsay shows off her famous curves, her sister Ali displays the slim figure for which she has recently came under fire for.

In a pair of black skinny jeans, the 18-year-old’s incredibly thin pins are highlighted.

Lindsay’s mother also appears to have shed more pounds, looking very slender in a black satin dress.

Brothers Michael and Cody have put on their finest for the snap, with the two boys in shirt and trouser combinations.

But it is certainly Lindsay who stands out from the clan with her platinum blonde hair and Scarlett lips.

The Lohan family home was decked out in decorations for the festive occasion and in typical American tradition, a sports game is seen playing in the background.

Estranged father Michael was of course not present for the gathering.

Lindsay recently got given the thumbs up from Judge Stephanie Sautner for completing her probation requirements early over the past few weeks during a recent court date.

The L.A judge told Lohan she was pleased with her progress and told her to keep it up.

‘You are doing well and I’d like to see it continue,’ the Los Angeles Superior Court judge told her.

‘The morgue seems to be pleased – as pleased as a morgue can be,’ she added.
She told Lohan that she was allowed to travel to see her family on holidays and special occasions with the approval of her probation officer.

‘In any month you complete your twelve days early you can travel for pleasure, to see her family to not see her family – to go to a spa or whatever,’ she said.

‘The holidays are coming up so you can travel to see your family.

‘But travel for pleasure or fun is only allowed after you’ve completed the 12 days,’ she added referring to the remainder of her probation, which the actress is close to completing.

Judge Sautner told Lohan that a recent trip to Hawaii was perfectly acceptable because it was to celebrate her sister Ali’s birthday, who turned 18 last week. L ohan has progressed ahead of schedule with her community service and was told that she can now travel for pleasure whenever she has completed her 12 days of service she is slated to do per month.

During the hearing Judge Sautner added: ‘I think she likes coming here and seeing me, ‘in a comment to Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, who asked if Lindsay needed to return to court next month if she completes her next stint of probation requirements early.

Lohan will indeed have to show her face again because, as the judge put it: ‘She won’t complete her probation otherwise.’Te actress – who features nude in the current issue of Playboy magazine – has been ordered to complete another 12 days of community service and four therapy sessions ahead of her next court date on January 17.

Lohan was ordered last month to spend 30 days in jail after she admitted violating her probation in a DUI case and another involving the theft of a necklace from a Venice jewellery store.

Due largely to jail overcrowding, she served only about five hours at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California.

My Note: I have already set my DVR recorder to watch this. I think from what I heard about Dr. Drew he will make Michael Lohan see how much of a negative impact he has on Lindsay’s life and if he wants her to stay on the right track that he needs to step aside. I also want to know if this jerk will say negative words towards/against Lindsay.

Lindsay Lohan turned down a number of lucrative offers to host New Year’s Eve celebrations in a bid to change her party-girl image.

The “Mean Girls” star, who is still on probation after being convicted of theft, is desperate to continue the progress she made so far with her judge so has opted to spend a quiet night at home with a few close friends on Dec. 31, TMZ reported Tuesday.

It means the star, who recently posed nude for the cover of Playboy, could be potentially missing out on a six-figure paycheck, the gossip site reported.

The 25 year old will spend New Year’s Eve at home, but may go out to dinner before midnight.
Lohan is still in the process of completing 480 hours of community service as part of her probation for stealing a necklace, as well as a 2007 DUI case.

Earlier in December the judge overseeing her case praised Lohan and encouraged her to continue her good progress.

She is due to appear in court Jan. 17 for a probation progress report.

“Lindsay was so involved with the shoot that she would go as far as adjusting items on the set. She even requested scissors so she could personally fray the edges of her black crepe blouse because she believed it would look better that way. Lindsay would take a hands-on approach to her shots, as she was more than willing to change her hairstyle during mid-shoot and even used her own personal jewelry and accessories when needed.”

Michael Lohan insists he has no problem with his 25-year-old daughter’s decision to bare all in the pages of Hugh Hefner’s famous men’s magazine as long she is comfortable with her decision.

In an episode of Dr. Drew Pinsky’s TV show Lifechangers, which will air on December 28, he said: “It’s a move in a direction where she’s working. If she’s happy with it, I’m happy with it.”

Although he is comfortable with her shoot, Michael Lohan admits he hasn’t seen it and doesn’t want to.

As Dr Drew pulled out an image of the magazine cover, he said: “I haven’t seen it and I never look at it, any of it. There she is. Do I have to close my eyes?”

Michael Lohan, 51, also refuses to watch any of Lindsay’s more racy movies, especially if they involve her acting in a sexual way.

He added: “I heard it’s classy (the Playboy shoot). She did some movies that were a little risque at times and I couldn’t even go to the movies and watch it. I wanted to, but I couldn’t.”

Lohan’s issue of Playboy has been selling out in shops across the US and has been a huge success. She was paid a reputed $1 million for shoot, which features her stylised as Marilyn Monroe.

Lindsay Lohan celebrated her sister’s birthday with “champagne” and fine food.

The actress’ little sister Aliana Lohan turned 18 today.

To honour Aliana’s official entry into adulthood, Lindsay hosted an intimate get-together with mother Dina, younger brothers Michael Jr and Cody, and friends at Beaumarchais restaurant in New York City Wednesday night.

Michael Jr was also celebrating his birthday and the group seemed to get along swimmingly.

“It’s clear Lindsay and Michael Jr are very close,” an eyewitness told Life & Style magazine. “They were talking a lot and Michael had his arm around her at one point. She seemed to be confiding in him.”

Partygoers ordered from a prix fixe menu that included truffle gnocchi and tuna tartare. Alcohol was flowing at the table.

“Lindsay ordered a bunch of glasses of champagne for the table and switched to drinking that,” the source explained.

Lindsay escaped for a cigarette break with her mom before dessert.

The star then snapped photographs with sister Aliana before asking the staff to prepare a cake and champagne sparklers for their table.

“The staff brought out cake and two brownie sundaes while everyone sang [Happy Birthday],” the witness went on. “Lindsay toasted with champagne.”

Although there has been controversy surrounding Aliana’s thin frame in recent months, witnesses assure that the model ate a hearty meal.

“[Aliana] had a lot of bread, a big salad and a bunch of her brownie sundae,” the source said.

Lindsay and Aliana’s father Michael Lohan was not in attendance.

Lindsay Lohan, who was scheduled to return from her hit-and-miss Hawaiian vacation today, missed her flight back to Los Angeles that would have had her back in town in time for a scheduled taping of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

But more importantly, Lohan’s due in court bright and early tomorrow. She doesn’t need a passport to get back to the mainland, so what can the problem be—and will it keep her from her date with Judge Stephanie Sautner?!

“Lindsay had a travel-related issue arise that took a few hours to sort out,” rep Steve Honig tells E! News. “It has been resolved and she will be back in Los Angeles in time for her court appearance.”

A source also tells us that Lohan, after missing a morning flight, is booked on an afternoon flight and hopes to be back tonight.

The community-servicing actress is due in court Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. for another checkup as to how she’s been handling the terms of her probation.

Sautner ordered her to complete at least 12 days of work at the L.A. County morgue by her hearing date—and Lohan’s done that, so we’re not expecting too much tap-dancing on the part of Playboy’s latest cover girl.

Did Lindsay Lohan have a drama-free weekend in Hawaii?

Of course not!

The 25-year-old actress and Playboy cover girl was a victim of major theft while partying (apparently sober) in Laie, Hawaii, TMZ reports, when her purse was stolen from a parked car.

And it wasn’t just any purse but a Chanel handbag worth $5,000 and containing $10,000 cash.

The good news? The purse was returned to her — but minus the money.

But, before receiving back the purse, Lohan worried that the theft would mean potential jail time for her, since she remains on probation for a related DUI case from 2007.
