How I would love to be a fly on the wall during that conversation. Can you imagine getting advice from Lindsay Lohan? She couldn’t make a good decision if you tattooed a flow chart on her arm. The conversation would probably go something like, “Here’s a tip: If you have to drink, pour the Vodka in a water bottle. Hey, you got any weed?”

Just because Amanda Bynes has been arrested for a DUI and has been becoming a staple on the Hollywood club scene, she is telling friends that she shouldn’t be compared to wayward actress, Lindsay Lohan, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Bynes was arrested in the early morning hours of April 6 after she hit a police car. She was arrested and remains free on bail, pending her first court hearing.

“Amanda thinks its extremely unfair that people are calling her the new Lindsay Lohan,” a source close to the actress tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. “Comparisons between the two are just ridiculous as Amanda has never been arrested for drug possession or for stealing anything. Yes, she got arrested for a DUI, but that doesn’t mean that she is headed down the same road as Lindsay. Amanda doesn’t harbor any negative feelings towards Lindsay, she doesn’t even know her, she just thinks it’s sexist that the two are being compared. Men in Hollywood that get arrested for DUI’s don’t face the same scrutiny that women do and that is what really irks Amanda. She isn’t taking the DUI arrest lightly.”

However, Amanda’s friends are urging the actress to go to rehab, but she is refusing. “Amanda has been in a downward spiral for the last six months. Even though her dad publicly said she doesn’t drink he knows she has a problem. It’s truly sad to witness. Amanda has been told she must go to rehab but she is refusing,” the insider revealed.

“Lindsay was a total nightmare yesterday,” a source told E! News, characterizing Lohan’s showing on the set on Wednesday. “She was three hours late in the morning, and when she did finally arrive, she just didn’t want to be there. She did not want to work. She had not memorized her lines, and she kept disappearing so no one could find her.”

On Wednesday, Dot Marie Jones — who plays Coach Bieste on the high school series — tweeted, “Gonna be a long day!! Some ppl show up late and just throw a wrench in things. Not cool! I’d rather be an hour early (I was) than 5 minutes late.”

Sources on the set had confirmed that the “not cool” person had indeed been Lohan.

However, her rep Steve Honig explained, “The production team came to us and said that they wanted to start [with Lindsay] right after lunch, which was at 2. They wanted to begin with Lindsay at 3, so that meant she had a lot of time where she wasn’t doing anything. That’s why people didn’t see her. She was then in hair and makeup and began after lunch at 3 … If there was a problem yesterday, I would have just said ‘no comment,’ however I can’t ignore this because this is utter B.S. This is a classic example of people trying to bash Lindsay. She busted her [bleep] yesterday.”

Lohan is playing a Nationals judge in the “Glee” season finale, alongside Rex Lee of “Entourage” and Perez Hilton, to air May 15. When the star began filming last week, she was widely praised for her performance.

“[She was] really great,” a source told E! at the time. “She was so professional and it looked like everything was going to go so well.”

But while Lohan seems to have rubbed the cast and crew of the series the wrong way on Wednesday, it appears that she might have made up for it yesterday. The actress reported to her rep that she finished her scenes three hours ahead of schedule.

A source added, “Everyone on ‘Glee’ is still rooting for Lindsay.”

We know Lindsay was supposed to be on the flight, along with her lawyer, Shawn Holley. Shawn made the flight, as did another passenger named George Clooney, who will also be at the dinner.

As for why Lindsay missed the flight … we’re told she just couldn’t pull it together. She PLANS on taking a later flight.

There are reports Lindsay was out late last night — although we have not confirmed it.

Funny … we asked Shawn Holley who was a more difficult client — Lindsay or OJ Simpson (Shawn worked for Johnnie Cochran during the OJ trial). Her answer: “I have no difficult clients.”

Really?

Though Rosie O’Donnell previously said she doesn’t “think [Lohan] is right for the role, and I don’t think she’s capable at this point of doing what’s needed,” the 25-year-old actress isn’t paying much attention to the former talk show host.

“It’s funny that someone you don’t know at all can say something so intrusive and so knowing,” Lohan tells Access Hollywood. “You should base your opinions when you meet someone. One-on-one is better.”

Lohan continued: “I don’t think I need to tell her anything. I know that I’m great and I know that I know Liz Taylor really well.”

(Maybe not as well as she thinks. In late 2010, Taylor told Us Weekly she hates “being called Liz, because it can sound like such a hiss.”)

Regardless, Lohan said she feels a strong connection to Taylor, who passed away at the age of 79 in March 2011.

“We’ve shared the same makeup artist and the same hairstylist. We’ve worked with a lot of the same people,” Lohan explained to Access Hollywood. “She sent me a ring at one point in my life from her House of Taylor costume collection. I’m really lucky to be able to do this role and I just want to honor her the way she should be honored because she’s helped a lot of people in her life.”

Liz & Dick producer Larry Thompson has full faith in Lohan, telling Us Weekly: “I think that she is quite excited for the opportunity, not only to get back to work, but to play this part. Elizabeth is a character who is larger than life, but I think that Lindsay can definitely relate to her quite a bit.”

“Maybe a lot of younger people don’t know Elizabeth Taylor that well,” Thompson adds. “They don’t realize that when this affair happened they were the most famous people in the world. If they think that Lindsay lives a scandalous life, these people invented scandal.”

The Fox hit has finalized a deal with Lindsay Lohan to guest star in one of this season’s final episodes, TVLine has learned exclusively. What’s more, she’ll be tacklinga role she was born to play: herself!

An insider at the Fox hit confirms that the movie star-turned-tabloid queen — once famously the butt of a joke on the show — will serve as a celebrity judge at Nationals. Although there’s no word yet as to who might be joining Lohan on the panel, past judges for the annual season-ending competition have included Josh Groban and Olivia Newton-John.

The Glee gig marks the latest leg of the troubled actress’ Hollywood comeback, which got underway last month when she hosted Saturday Night Live. Her last scripted TV gig was a 2008 arc on Ugly Betty. She’s currently in talks to play acting legend Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime biopic.

While Lindsay Lohan was on the younger end of the age spectrum of those making an appearance at last night’s amfAR Gala, one certainly wouldn’t know it by looking at her. The “Mean Girls” actress looked far older than 25 as she posed for photos on the red carpet of the gala, held at Cipriani Wall Street.

Lohan’s overly bleached hair bordered on white, giving the star’s face an older cast. Her nude makeup further dulled her complexion. Meanwhile, her buttoned-up, long-sleeved white dress seemed stolen out of an older woman’s closet, while her jewelry had a distinctly bought-in-the ’80s vibe.

Perhaps years of hard partying and legal woes have taken their toll on Lohan. Or there could be another explanation for the star’s appearance — perhaps she is channeling the Gotti look.

Last April, Lohan appeared at the press conference for the film “Gotti: Three Generations,” in which she had been rumored to be in talks for the role of Victoria Gotti. Producer Marc Fiore confirmed at the time that Lohan was in talks for the film, though nothing had been finalized.

In October, Deadline reported that the movie, now called “Gotti: In the Shadow of My Father,” was having financial issues after casting high-priced stars like John Travolta and Al Pacino. Meanwhile, Lohan’s rep told USA Today that Lohan was finalizing her agreement for the film, to play Kim Gotti, wife of John Gotti III.

Perhaps Lohan’s amfAR ensemble is an attempt to show that she can easily look like a mob wife. It’s also possible that the starlet is looking to age herself in attempt to get more serious roles in general.

Incredibly, it looks like she is. The only allegations she faces these days (save for that tax mishap) are the typical celeb fare – frivolous lawsuits from crazy people.

According to court documents, Thomas A. Green is suing Lohan for $300,000 for “unfair business practices” and allegedly defrauding him in some online business deal.

Green claims he is a former U.S. Marine and says he recently spent time in a homeless shelter due to a “depreciated stage of delusion and hallucinations.”

Green believes he began corresponding with Lohan on Facebook on July 18, 2010, and makes references to both public Facebook and Twitter messages that the actress had posted in an effort raise awareness and funds for the disaster in the Gulf Coast.

Green seems to claim was duped by Lohan and when he pressed her about her true intentions, he uncovered a conspiracy about the killing of Osama bin Laden.

He goes on and on and on, but we’re just gonna stop right there, because this is going to be thrown out in about two seconds, and we have other things to talk about.

Sources close to Lindsay tell us she recently, and amicably, parted ways with her long suffering assistant Eleonore. We’re told Eleonore couldn’t keep up with Lindsay’s hectic life.

Lindsay’s new assistant — a brave soul named Alexandra … made her public debut at LiLo’s probation hearing last week (above). We’re told, at this point, she feels confident she can keep up with Linds.

Lindsay — who will appear in court at 10 AM PT for her probation progress hearing — is in the final stages of negotiating the deal — this according to sources very close to the actress/perpetual defendant. We’re told the plan is to sign the deal early next week.

And we’re told … Lindsay is actually getting more scripts than she’s received in years — apparently producers have noticed she’s finally showing some maturity.

As for today … as we first reported Lindsay has completed the required morgue work and psychotherapy sessions. If all goes well, she’ll be off probation at the end of March.
